Ash Soan who is probably one of the very best drummers here in England was out having lunch yesterday with the pop star Rumer. It appears that Ash will be starting work on Rumer's album next week at Rak Studios in London. Ash Soan has played drums on Adele's albums and works with just about evryone on the pop scene.

You will be watching one of the U S A's top drummers in action as Omar Hakim will be performing for the 22 night residency. Omar is one of the very best drummers around. He started off on his musical journey when he was 5years of age. He took drums seriously and went through College etc. omar is a first call drummer who has worked with the like's of. George Benson, Dire Staits, Chaka Khan, Celine Dion, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson, Maria Carey and most recently appears on the Multi Successful Daft Punk.

I had co organised the Drum Marathon called Drums Over The Mersey this was in 85. It was a 36 hour non stop Drums/Music Marathon and it started in the middle of the river Mersey on Saturday 26th of January and finished at 10.00pm on Sunday 27th January. It was a complete success and i am glad to say I have kept in touch with Steve and the Lad's since.
