Has been keeping himself busy recording a new album. Jake's management team wanted him to record some Demo's with Rick Rubin at Shangri La Studio's. Which is situated near Zuma beach on the slopes of Malibu California. Jake and Rick Rubin have got on so well that instead of recording the Demo's it's turned out that Jake has recorded his new album.

We all know that Rick Ruben has the Midas touch when it comes to production work. Rick has over the years worked with some of the best bands around. I am in particular looking forward to hearing Jake's new album as I hear that the great Chad Smith is drumming on some of the songs. Rick Rubin know's that he can rely on Chad to come up with the drumming required for any of the songs. Both Rick and Chad are good friends so if Chad is available from his main job playing for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The Rick will keep him busy. Jake Bugg's new album is to be called Shangri La the name of the studio where he enjoyed recording it.
