I was totally surprised to say the least when I heard last week that the great drumming talent that is Dave Lombardo was Fired form his post as drummer with the band Slayer. Slayer have released a message to all of their fan's saying that Dave's departure from Slayer was due to a disagreement over contracts. I am sure you will all agree with me that Dave Lombardo is a superb drummer and one of the very best Double Bass drum players around along with the great Joey Jordison.
